This is a unique mask inspired by Kerala’s traditional art form, “Ottamthullal”. This mask is made of Jack wood and has amazing craft works which makes this mask very special. This mask has enamel painting along with gold foil ornamentation works.

Ottan Thullal is a recite-and-dance art form of Kerala, India. Kunchan Nambiar, one of the Prachina Kavithrayam (three famous Malayalam-language poets) introduced it in the eighteenth century. The folksy performance, often laced with humor intended at criticism of society, is accompanied by mridangam (a barrel-shaped double-headed drum) and the handy idakka besides a pair of ilathalam cymbals.
